Marie-Madeleine Fourcade was the head of the Réseau Alliance - the largest French Resistance Intelligence Network in France during WWII - providing essential information to the British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS/MI6). She was unique and her story in my view is unmatched. In this episode we hear of her colourful early life in Shanghai, Morocco and Paris and the beginnings of the Alliance Network up until December 1941.
