    Storytelling is a way to help people feel seen and to affirm their worth. It can also be a way for the storyteller to feel seen and validated. Joanne started her content creation journey with the goal of veganizing Korean food, but later shifted towards storytelling about the immigrant experience in the United States. She wanted to provide insight into the immigrant American experience and allow immigrants to be seen. When people don't feel seen, they feel that their story and actions are not worthy or valuable....
