  • Ruby had me in this book, it was like she said “ I’m gonna tell you what’s gonna happen but now you have to wait most of the book until it does happen”. For the Mother/Sister standard, no no no. Mostly because the spice level 5/5! This is a Monster(Tauren)/Human marriage of convenience. Ruby knows how to create an immersive world with culture, outlaying the societal norms within the society and how they impact the characters so if you loved Ice Planet Barbarians you will love this book! I really was hooked from the beginning!
