About this listen

While Evil Corp was raking in almost $100 million in revenue from hacks of mostly American companies, the Russian government turned a self-serving blind eye to homegrown cybercriminals and engaged in its own hacking schemes to undermine US democracy. Russia’s 2016 hack and leak operation against the Democratic National Committee, and its creation of countless fake social media profiles to spread false and divisive information blew through a red line that cybersecurity experts thought would never be crossed. In many ways, Russia’s disinformation campaigns in the US helped create the conditions in which election deniers stormed the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.©2023 Audible Originals, LLC (P)2023 Audible Originals, LLC

Truly terrible. Right off the bat the story is slanted. Literally says on Jan 6th “a woman was killed” … actually she was Ashley Babbit and she was unarmed and shot by a policeman from behind a barricaded doorway. Also leaves out trumps clear admonition to his supporters to peacefully protest. Many other false narratives and outright untruths. Don’t waste your time.

The narrative is gross! I wish people would wake up and see that Trump is not our enemy!
