Interesting content, and a piece of Hollywood history that I didn’t know, but Michael Connelly is extremely hard to listen to.

When it comes to writing about crime, either true or fictional, nobody is better the Michael. I was a prosecutor in LA for 17 years. He has the pulse of the city and the crime scene. If you like this genre, listen up!

Wonderful expose on Wonderland

I started listening after watching the MGM mini-series. The history of 1970s & 1980s Tinseltown is very interesting. Connelly brought both eyewitness and police investigator testimony to show the flaws.

Sadly, the sound was of such a poor quality that it was difficult to listen. The pops, hisses, and other source issues made it difficult to follow along. It was as if someone had degoused the source tapes at points that you could not clearly hear everything.

Needs To Be Remastered - Poor Sound Quality
