Wow Mel you’ve done it again!
I love how relatable and practical you make them. It’s really like having a best friend walking along the road with you motivating you and giving you the tools you need.

HIT HOME
Listening to this so hot home. We don’t stop and think about how time passes. We are so caught up in the day to day, Then one day we look up and realize where did time go?
This topic definitely have me looking at re-evaluating myself.

Didn’t even know I I needed this
I’m so glad i randomly selected this podcast, more out of boredom and curiosity than anything else. This was really timely and powerful content that hadn’t realized i needed so badly. As for narration, Mel’s delivery is always so embracing , relatable and encouraging, like you’re chatting with a really good friend.

I canNOT listen to this
There is just something about every aspect of this that is so grating, so infantilizing, it makes me bristle instantly. Comes across as narcissistic, cultish. Hard no.

This book has many, many words and not a lot of substance.
I acknowledge that many people need someone to lecture them to slow down and breath, but I am not one of them.
I feel like the advice in this book could be a two page handout — the remaining words were added to create stories and color in typical self help fluff-book fashion, but they don’t add much or cut to the heart of things.
I hope it works well for some, but for me, I don’t even have a desire to finish it.
The author is charming and it’s a good read.
It’s just not a book for everyone I suppose.
