    Today, each country encompassing part of Sápmi has an organization that grants an official mark to duojárs, to help those purchasing duodji to know they are supporting the traditional handwork of the Sámi. However, some duojars choose not to apply for the mark, and relationships built between maker and purchaser continue to be the best way to add duodji to your life.

    The Pacific Sámi Searvi was created to bring together people in the diaspora, embracing our culture and culture. Our mission at the Pacific Sámi Searvi is to honor, cultivate, and expand understanding of Sámi culture, heritage, and contemporary issues.
