Don’t you just love a powerful redemption story? When you hear about how someone was lost and then was found and that their life completely transformed because of an encounter with Jesus? If you think about it, isn’t that a picture of each one of us who’s come into a real relationship with Jesus?

Mary Magdalene's story is a powerful testament to the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Mary went from being tormented by 7 demons to becoming one of Jesus' most dedicated followers. She stood by Him during His crucifixion, witnessed His resurrection, and carried the message of His eternal love to others. A woman, once completely shunned by society, now exemplified a profoundly changed person, touched by Christ. We are focusing on Mary’s story today, because it teaches us what a life looks like once you are truly freed, called, and empowered by God. We become a force to be reckoned with, bold and unashamed to share the message of Christ and to bring others into relationship with Him.
