Love yourself enough to not allow anyone who is unworthy of you, into your life. If you let someone cheat on you, you're a problem too, and you're creating the monster in your life. People who make these choices as the cheater or the one who allows the cheater in their lives, are individuals who have unresolved internal issues. When a person doesn't love self, it affects their lives, in many ways.
