essential listening
This series tracks the rise of contemporary politics so well! A series on Bernie should follow.

Fascinating!
I knew little of the origins of so many elements of our modern political culture and practices prior to this series.
The story telling, array of clips, and music all helped me feel deeply entertained and fascinated at how all the pieces were evolving.
Shockingly relevant, this series left me hopeful for the future. I enjoyed learning that our political system was so recently shaped and am excited that it continues to evolve.
Great series!

Precient
The irony that many George McGovern voters could just as well have gone for segregationist bigot George C. Wallace in 1972 goes far in explaining Populism in modern America and how we ultimately ended up with the sorrow and pity of the Trump kleptocracy. Good, short listen fitting for understanding current phenomena such as Q Anon and Republican efforts to restore Jim Crow.
