About this listen
In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa discusses the Nancy Zanone Case from St. Louis, Missouri.
On December 2, 1963, Nancy Zanone is working on taking care of her two small children and finishing up some laundry. While she works on this, a 15 year old, named Joseph Arbeiter Jr., walks into her home looking for items to steal.
When Nancy sees Joseph in her home, Joseph lunges at Nancy with a knife; stabbing her twice. He runs out of the home and leaves Nancy wounded.
This case is riddled with what happens when the justice system only works for the people incapable of following the rules of law.
We will deep dive into Nancy's life but; also, her perpetrators.
