We start off with Erica's great escape from Hurrican Milton... As the show talks about disasters and government help in starting storms or helping after storms (you pick a side).. Then we switch to Erica's health as the Floridian girl is lacking vitamin D and the doctor oders her to buy a $2000 bike (with a motor) or did Erica decide this on her own as Mark gave her plenty of ways to get in shape and get ouside that are a ot cheaper. Somehow they ended in speaking about Mike Judge and his time machine or as Erica says his inteligence that helps the Simpsons seem to predict the future and are we now entering Idocracy or as Mark calls it End Times... We wrap things up just days before he election wondering how long has campaign smearing and not telling us what they will do to fix it been going on... Mark found a lot of campaign slogans that went back a quite a few decades that woked and some that caused the politician to lose their edge. This week we find Erica did survive Helene but not the TV station where she works. Mark brings up NOLA weather people have issues with the internet weather people and our gettin in a little online tiff... Erica and Mark point out the internet WX people do not have bosses and are more at ease about reporting.. Erica points out there are a lot of bad ones out there but Mike's Weather Page and spegettimodels.com seem to be where the action is each time. Erica and Mark talk about the flodding and their experiences in being cut off from the world in the early 90's in Georgia and how it really is for those in western Carolina. Meanwhile Mark accidently brings up Tradio a radio swap meet he and Erica may have participated in although Erica is better at pretending she wasn't there. Erica now has two phone numbers which peaked Mark's interest until he found out she is actually paying 2 cell billls. The question is if Mark doesn't have Ericas private email will he be allowed to get her new phone number? SInce the phone call will drop before Halloween they discused candy corn and why its called that and costumes from Mark's Black and White world vs. todays... Finally Mark is preparing for his old timers troubles and asked Erica should his wife call her will she take care of him? Erica may want Mark as an edentured servant.... Mark quickly decided to make sure he and his wife are ok.

The Phone Call this week again maybe the last one as Erica is now near a Cat 4 Hurricane... Rest asure Erica has an in with FEMA as they use and so can we the Waffle House Storm Scale....Mark does not have AI so he realizes he can't replace her as fast as she can replace him... Menawhile the gang goes on with the show Discusing Hurricane Gypsy's or are they Travelers? Raising kids and parents as we get older. Making amends as part of recovery with your kids should you or shouldn't you? Mark's Pastor wanted to hear his radio voice and Mark missed out on a golden opportunity to bring back those old pipes of gold. That leads to broadcasting school they both attended and their first gigs in the biz. Finally wrapping up the show with a top list of side characters that stole their show from whom it was built around...Did I do that?

Erica is C sick as Mark tries to consult her. Mark claims he is never sick because he gets the saline soulution / sugar pill in the experiment eveytime. Erica and Mark and their take on Canada and the middle east somehow leads into a discusion about operation deez nuts... Marks was reminded he never talked about Hurricane Cat 2 Francine, which makes Erica think Mark is cheating with another podcast. But they both realize its MArks mind slipping away. Meanwhile Mark has not one but 2 crazy stories as he believes his garage is haunted "again" and on a serious note Marks son had an issue with his neighbors kids where it could have ended very bad as the elementary aged kids were ding dong dashing with what appeard to be hand guns and the neighbors and police were involved. Finally ever wanted t know how rude your city is? We talk the Top 10 most rudest cities. It's a Special Edition of The Phone Call recorded on September 11th 2024. yes it should have been about the Twin Towers but Mark was in full crisis mode. Hurricane Francine was heading his way and Erica wanted to make a replacement reasdy in case Mark can no longer do the show. The gang discusses the reson why hurricanes are a big deal in Louisiana with NOLA being a big soup bowl and how the map wouldn't change the path but Mark said the radar was showing differently. Mark was right and the hurricane did change cources and actually ran straight over his house. Fortunately he did survive and its good news since Cove was not making Erica any promises. We wrap up the call with Mark and his weird fact segment which Erica calls Pot Talk and listening to one of our very old radio bits.

Originally recorded in May of 2023 Mark gets busted as a poser by a dead head and a biker. Wierd stories out of Walsmrt. Erica may have been in a grocer store gang. This week Mark had another wild concert weekend with some unfortunate events including a mis-fortune cookie. Erica once again needed to diagnose Marks behavior and walk Mark through it. Strange death stories inspired by the Wells Fargo death story. Strange but true Blazing Saddles is back and uncut for its 50th Anniversary and the NFL by the numbers to kickoff football season with the most arrested roster award going to a team that surprised the show.

This week too many ghost stories some real some internet. TV and Radio layoffs just means job gets done now for free by the people who havent been fired yet. Mark remembers when internship meant free labor and was surprised by how little they do now and get paid for it. Erica and Mark discuss how they got fired gracefully most of the time, now Mark had some radio amends to do. The Yfiles has been repaced byt the Casper channel for Erica and Mark freaks out everytime it's mentioned. Mrk says dinosaurs still exist in the oceans and in South America and Erica calls bull. Erica and Mark discuss growing up when they were young compared to today and Mark found scientific proof Baby Boomers and some Gen X'ers get it but Gen Z doesn't. Fad diets to lose weight with celophane and finally Erica trys to talk Mark into the sleep watch ap.
