  • Roadway Trolls
    Sep 27 2024
In this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys kick things off by discussing the upcoming deer season and their plans to visit the Texas State Fair. Kyle shares his love for donuts and chocolate milk, admitting that he has to avoid donut shops to resist temptation consciously. Then, the show turns into the strange as an upstate New York resident recounts a sighting his partner had, followed by the witness's eerie encounter with an upright goat-human hybrid. Next, an Oklahoma teen has a chilling experience when he wakes up for a drink and spots a red-eyed humanoid outside his window, radiating malevolence. In another disturbing encounter, a young boy faces a strange humanoid figure crouched in the corner of his bedroom, its features unnervingly inhuman.

After the break, Cam delves into bizarre encounters with what can only be described as "Road Trolls." These unsettling creatures, explored in detail by author Jerry D. Coleman in his books Strange Highways and More Strange Highways, are frequently reported by truckers traveling along dark highways in the Southern and Midwestern U.S. Witnesses often describe a prominent, hairy, troll-like figure dressed in tattered clothing, sometimes with a wooden peg leg. What begins as a sighting of a drifter quickly escalates into something far more disturbing as the true nature of these road-dwelling creatures becomes apparent.

  • The Hunger
    Sep 13 2024
On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the show kicks off with Kyle trying out a new ion-infused water, which he claims is far superior to Cam's usual choice. The conversation takes a nostalgic turn as they reminisce about the days when Gatorade still came in glass bottles. The episode then dives into the strange and mysterious. First, a bizarre incident involving an unknown creature—possibly a Bigfoot—repeatedly knocking on and even urinating on a listener's front door. Neighbors have also reported similar odd occurrences. Next, an Alabama woman and her son encounter something eerie on their property. As they explore outside at night, they hear a mysterious clicking sound, and their flashlight beam is suddenly "blocked" by an unseen entity.

Another story recounts a family mystery dating back to 1957 in North Carolina, where a young girl may have encountered two time travelers while on the road between Reidsville and Greensboro. Then, things get even stranger when a New Yorker, driving home from Baltimore, Maryland, experiences something inexplicable on I-83. As they approach Harrisburg, PA, the truck ahead of them vanishes, and they suddenly find themselves 50 miles back in Maryland. After the break, Kyle dives into the world of vampire lore. While the classic portrayal of vampires—like those in Bela Lugosi’s films—are pure entertainment, Kyle explores real-life vampire sightings that have been reported for centuries, with stories continuing into modern times. Finally, Cam shares an intriguing story about a woman seeking answers to her unsettling encounters with an unknown entity.

  • Mysteries of Antarctica
    Aug 30 2024
In this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the journey begins with a chilling tale from the shores of California. A woman and her cousin claim to have witnessed something otherworldly near the Santa Monica Pier—creatures they described as 'mermaids,' though their eerie glow and malevolent presence suggest something far more sinister. The story then shifts to the Appalachian Trail, where a father, his son, and their loyal dog spend the night in a remote shelter. But as darkness falls, they encounter a mysterious entity known only as the "Brown Man." The unsettling realization soon dawns that this being might have attacked their dog without ever touching it. Amidst these strange encounters, Kyle shares a lighter yet equally puzzling experience of his own. Despite no intention of doing so, he's found himself walking miles after running out of gas and, in a stroke of misfortune, locking himself out of his office twice in just two weeks. The episode concludes with a tale from southcentral Ohio, where a lone driver on a deserted country road encounters something bizarre—a sight that defies explanation, floating eerily near the road's edge. After the break, Cam brings up some mysteries surrounding Antarctica. In the heart of the Earth's most desolate and unforgiving expanse, whispers echo through the icy winds, carrying tales of the unknown. Antarctica, a land untouched by time, shrouded in secrecy and bound by an unspoken pact among the world's nations, remains a blank page in the story of our planet—a page that invites both wonder and trepidation. The Antarctic Treaty, a veil of diplomacy, cloaks this frozen wasteland, rendering it off-limits to the eyes of ordinary men and women. But what truths are buried beneath the layers of ice, hidden from all but a select few? In the shadowed years before the world plunged into chaos, a group of Nazi explorers ventured to the White Continent under the guise of "research." Their true purpose? Shrouded in darkness, leaving us to speculate what they sought—and perhaps found—in this remote corner of the Earth. Did they establish a foothold, a secret stronghold far from prying eyes? As the war raged on, the United States, vigilant and wary, kept a watchful gaze on their adversaries. In a move that has fueled speculation for decades, the celebrated Admiral Byrd led Operation Highjump, an expedition that some say uncovered more than ice and snow. What did Byrd witness in the icy abyss, and what secrets did he bring back that might have changed the course of history? The tales do not end there. Rumors swirl like the Antarctic blizzards, telling of Nazi technology far beyond their time, perhaps even of extraterrestrial origin. Did they unlock the secrets of flight and machinery, not of this world? And what of the persistent murmurings of alien presence, of unidentified objects cutting through the endless night of the Antarctic sky? Satellite images, innocuous to the untrained eye, reveal cracks in the ice, jagged peaks, and distant research stations. Yet to some, these are not mere geographical features but signs—clues pointing to hidden cities beneath the ice, to places where the unimaginable might dwell. UFO crash sites, they whisper, alien civilizations encased in ice, waiting. Antarctica holds its secrets close, wrapped in the cold embrace of its icy plains. And as long as it remains unexplored, the mysteries of the White Continent will continue to beckon, daring us to uncover what lies beneath. Finally found something worth listening to

Whether you believe in this kind of stuff or just interested or just trying to expand your perspective, these guys are great To listen to they have helped me Get through my work days lately and just Allow my mind to wonder into all kinds of rooms of possibility in fun in spokaness Let alone there's many topics in here. Which are great to bring up to friends for a conversation or a fun chat, keep it up Guys I love what you do. I haven't been through all your episodes yet. But I would love to hear more conspiracy type stuff, such as the fact that satellites don't exist. They're more like sataloons. Hence, the reason NASA is the number one consumer of helium in the world. Maybe bring up the firmament. I know you're probably not trying to talk about flatterest type stuff a lot. But that stuff goes hand-in-hand with meteorite stories. And such which wouldn't be able to exist if the fir a moment did either way? Hopefully, I can call you guys and leave a story Someday, I've got a couple. Excuse all the funky punctuation and capitals. I used to talk to text for this and it was choppy. Take care, gentlemen and God bless.

Best Podcast for the Unexplained

I’ve listened to every episode that’s not on their elite format and I must say these two guys are the best at explaining things without promoting their own opinions as facts.

They have open minds and don’t just jump to explain weird things as “paranormal”. From ancient history to the current rash of winged Humanoids around Chicago these guys cover it all.

Been a fan from the beginning.

The guys are great because they are so down to Earth. Every episode is like 2 friends from high school coming over and sitting around shooting the bull.
