Right, let’s take a look at what’s making news in the world of Formula 1 today… First up, Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz will start from the back of the grid at the Turkish Grand Prix after the team decided to fit his car with a new power unit this weekend! The new complete power unit will take Sainz over his quota of engine and hybrid components for the year, meaning he will have to start the race from the back of the grid… Speaking before the race, the team said… "As was the case for Charles Leclerc in Russia, in Turkey Carlos Sainz will take a completely new power unit fitted with the new hybrid system... "Therefore, he will start from the back of the grid with the aim of climbing up the order to try and score some points! "Mattia Binotto will not attend the Turkish Grand Prix, but as was the case several times last year, the team principal will be based in the Maranello factory to focus on the development of next year's car… “He will, of course, follow all sessions and the race from the Remote Garage, with a permanent link to the team at Istanbul Park… That’s disappointing news, vamos Carlos. Speaking of changes for Turkey, Red Bull will be turning Japanese this weekend, at what would have been Honda’s last race in F1 in Japan! Red Bull will run a special livery, with team boss Christian Horner saying… “We had all been looking forward to giving Honda’s Japanese fans a chance to celebrate our extremely successful relationship in Formula One, on home soil at Suzuka... “With the race falling victim to the pandemic, we just couldn’t let the weekend pass without paying tribute to Honda and its amazing home fans by bringing a little bit of its heritage to Istanbul! “The livery chosen for our cars pays homage to Honda’s remarkable F1 journey, and hopefully we can give fans another victory in those legendary colours this weekend… As is becoming tradition on this podcast, we can’t hear from Red Bull without also hearing from Mercedes! Toto Wolff has said his team are buzzing ahead of the Turkish Grand Prix!
