    In this episode, our host Mark Braybrook is joined by FOG #W124 Meg Ward. Meg was born in Gosford, New South Wales and moved to Queensland at the age of two.

    A three time NRLW Premiership winner with the Brisbane Broncos, Meg made her debut for Queensland in 2018.

    Meg was a member of the Australian side that won the 2017 Women’s World Cup, scoring three tries in the tournament.

    In 2024, Meg was named the BMD Premiership Coach of the Year in her first season at the helm of the Norths Devils

    In this episode, our host Mark Braybrook is joined by FOG #167, David Shillington. David Shillington made his Origin debut in Game 3 of the 2009 series, and played eight games throughout his Origin career. In all David played in four series for Queensland, winning all four.

    In a career that spanned 215 NRL games with the Sydney Roosters, Canberra Raiders and Gold Coast Titans David was al,so selected to represent Australia in 14 test matches.

    In 2010, David was named the Canberra Raiders Player of the Year, receiving the Mal Meninga Medal.

    David announced his retirement before the start of the 2017 season, succumbing to injury after having played his final year in the NRL with the Gold Coast Titans.

    Welcome to the FOGS Queenslander Podcast Episode 25!

    In this episode, our host Mark Braybrook is joined by FOG # 111 Mat Rogers. Mat has the distinction of scoring all of Queensland’s points in his origin debut, a 9-8 win in game 1 of the 1999 series. Mat was born in Caringbah in New South Wales and moved to Queensland at the age of 9 where he played for the Nerang Roosters.

    Despite being eligible for both states, Mat chose Queensland and went on to play five Origin matches for the maroons, scoring 37 points in those five games.

    Mat made his test debut for Australia in 1998 and was a member of 2000 World Cup winning side.

    Following the 2001 season, Mat left Cronulla and the NRL to play rugby where he represented the Wallabies on 45 occasions.

    In 2007, Mat returned to rugby league and was a member of the Gold Coast Titans inaugural team in 2007, retiring from the game due to injury in 2011 after 200 games.
