although I liked her other podcast (gutfull) better I still really enjoyed how she backs up all her statements with resigning to support he claims. she also isn't turning around and trying to push one specific diet, instead she takes a neutral approach giving information on each. I specifically find the traditional diets she talks about vary interesting and it would be nice if she made another podcast to focus on those.

I loved this podcast!

That the diet is short term for specific condition, and only for 4-6 weeks, for ex.

Great info esp on FODMAPs

O.K. as a basic primer on some popular fad diets (keto, paleo, etc.) Glosses over science of plant based whole food diets, seemingly because she feels they are 'too hard' for most people. (Diabetes, cardiovascular disease and bypass surgery are 'harder'.) She seems to miss the point that the impetus for developing alternative meats was not to provide a 'healthy' sub for humans to eat but as a way to lessen animal suffering.

Tries too hard for mass appeal

I don't like this Audible as much as I don't like Dr Ancel Keys' hypothesis; although something are still on the right track in this Audible.

This is a waste of time.

Just enough obscurity in the statements that you can't call them out and out lies. Not worth the time as it is all old data that has been disproven multiple times. i.e. Ketogenic only working for around 6 months or not being sustainable in the long term. Instead of viewing nutrition as a lifestyle this podcast seems to treat nutrition as something that can be flexible, that moderation is the real key. There are literally hundreds of products and foods that taste good and trigger undesirable behaviors...and it requires decisions to be nutritionally healthy. Very disappointing.

Just your basic same-old same-old
