In addition, after the great recession of 2008, Dan found himself in a uniquely difficult situation with a law suit hanging over his head. Discouraged driving down the road one day he heard what seemed to be God telling him to stop as he saw a homeless man on the side of the road. Pulling over and crossing the street, he was nearly hit by a passing car. He felt this strong impression to reach in his pocket and give everything he had to help. As strange as it seems, Dan received a call from his attorney right away letting him know that the recent business threat literally went away. Coincidence? Or Divine Appointment?

Having served seven of a ten year sentence in the toughest and meanest Florida State Prison from 17 to 24 years old for a foolish high school mistake, Steve determined from his prison cell that he either had to get up or give up.

There in that dark dangerous cell as a teenager having witnessed the horrors of prison life, he made a decision that dramatically changed the trajectory of his life and gave him a powerful spiritual awakening.
