Episode 18:
As the Jewish people endured 2,000 years of exile, they preserved their identity through Torah learning and unwavering commitment to their faith, despite intense external pressures. However, the rise of movements like the Haskalah and Reform in the 18th and 19th centuries introduced new ideological challenges, seeking to modernize Judaism at the cost of traditional observance, ultimately leading to widespread assimilation and spiritual vulnerability. Yet, even in the face of these challenges, Jewish leaders have continually called for a return to Torah as the blueprint for Jewish survival and connection to Hashem, reminding us of the critical importance of spiritual integrity.
