Gardeners' World 2024 Recap: Ep 28

  • Summary

  • Rachel de Thame takes us to the beautiful Yeo Valley Organic Garden in Somerset to meet Professor Jane Memmott and Professor Daniel Robert from Bristol University to learn more about how plants interact with insects. We visit Tom Adkin and Giulia Consolandi at their Piccolo Plants Nursery in Branscombe, North Devon and they show us their fantastic collection of succulents. Maisie Bartlett takes us on a tour of her pretty and packed allotment and then Arit meets with Debbie Roberts and Ian Smith from Acres Wild Landscape and Garden Design who show her their 3-in-1 garden in Horsham, incorporating Mediterranean, Japanese and English garden styles. Finally we meet butterfly fantastic, Paul James Allen in Poole, Dorset, who talks to us about butterflies and caterpillars and which plants in his garden are the most attractive to them.
