Quincy and Kay celebrate girl power on the pod with their guest Susane Lee as they dive into Captain Marvel. In honor of Carol Danvers’ kick-ass introduction to the MCU, Kay highlights other barrier breaking women who made headlines in the film’s release year of 2019. Then they fly into a discussion of the movie’s cool themes, awesome nineties references and the depth of the easter eggs surrounding Stan Lee’s cameo. They also recall other favorite roles in which they’ve seen Brie Larson and Gemma Chan. After they share stories about rescuing kittens, dealing with insomnia, and seeing Shang-Chi on Disney Plus, they play with graphic eyeliner. Quincy demonstrates how to draw with eyeliner as they all find fun shapes for their eyes. In the end, they surrender to their sense of play and create some wild galactic looks.
