God Is Good, Eternally Merciful, and True!

  • Summary

  • "Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts overflowing with gratitude. "Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever" (Psalm 136:1). Lord, I thank You for Your endless mercy, love, and kindness. In a world filled with turmoil, You remain our steadfast anchor. Help us, Lord, to cultivate a spirit of thankfulness, even in the midst of trials and tribulations.

Just as the Psalmist declares, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (Psalm 150:6), we choose to lift our voices in worship. We refuse to let our circumstances dictate our praise. Instead, we will remember Your faithfulness in our lives. Teach us to see Your hand at work in every situation, for You are the God who turns our mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). May our hearts be tuned to sing a new song of gratitude each day.

1 Peter 1:3 says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

In the parable of the lost sheep, we see how deeply You care for each of us (Luke 15:4-7). Like the shepherd who rejoices over the one found, we thank You for Your relentless pursuit of our hearts. Lord, I praise You for being our Shepherd, guiding us through life’s valleys with Your rod and staff. Your goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6), and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Lord, I thank You for the hope You instill in us daily. When we feel weighed down by the burdens of life, remind us that Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). We stand on the promises of Your Word and declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). In this truth, we find strength and courage to continue pressing forward in faith. Lord, I thank You for the mercy, love, and kindness that envelop us daily. May our lives reflect Your glory as we walk in thankfulness and praise. Amen. Psalm 99:5 says, "Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he!" Amen.
