As Christ was adopted into the bloodline of King David, so we were adopted into the family of God through Jesus Christ!

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.

And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory (see Romans 8:14-17).

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God (see John 1:12-13).

Grace calls us to a higher standard. A higher standard in our walk with Christ. A higher standard in serving, giving, praying, loving etc. A higher standard in being a good steward and ambassador of God.

“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” - Romans‬ ‭16‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Bible is clear, mark those who causes division in the body of Christ. Those who lead the flock astray. There is only one vision and it’s God’s vision period.
