  • Disney Really Dropped The Ball On This One!
    Jun 30 2025

This week on the Granger Smith Podcast, Granger welcomes back his brother Parker Smith—CEO of Yee Yee Apparel and the mastermind behind one of YouTube’s fastest-growing gun channels, YeeYee Life. They dive into the creative madness behind the viral videos (like shooting ATM machines and prison doors), sourcing wild items from Facebook Marketplace, and the deeper message behind faith-driven merchandise.

The conversation takes a powerful turn as Granger shares a story of conviction sparked by a simple sandwich shop encounter and reflects on how even our wardrobe can be a witness to the Gospel. He opens up about an upcoming mission trip to Latin America, walking listeners through a fresh sermon he’s preparing on Luke 7—where Jesus forgives a sinful woman, and how it reveals our universal need for grace and forgiveness.

Later, the guys get real about movies that make them cry (from Braveheart to Old Yeller), and tackle a thought-provoking listener question about Catholic vs. Protestant doctrine—covering topics like Mary’s sinlessness, transubstantiation, and sola scriptura. Whether you’re deep in theology or just want to hear brothers laugh about Tyler skipping the show for a massage, this episode balances humor, heart, and truth beautifully.

  • How Smartphones Are Rewiring Your Kid’s Brain (And What You Can Do About It) | Clare Morell
    Jun 23 2025

This week on the Granger Smith Podcast, we’re diving deep into one of the most pressing—and honestly, most convicting—challenges facing parents today: how do we raise healthy, thriving kids in a world dominated by screens?

Granger and Amber sit down with Clare Morell, author of The Tech Exit and a leading voice on protecting kids from the hidden dangers of smartphones, social media, and online content. Clare shares her unique perspective as a policy expert, a pastor’s wife, and a mom of three young kids, drawing from years of research, interviews, and real-life stories.

    The conversation gets honest about:

➡️ Why traditional “screen time limits” and parental controls just aren’t enough

➡️ The neuroscience behind screen addiction and why moderation isn’t the answer

➡️ How screens are quietly reshaping our children’s brains, desires, and ability to enjoy real life

➡️ Shocking new research on physical health (like the rise in kids with permanent dry eye from too much screen time)

➡️ The spiritual impact of tech on our kids’ ability to know God, love others, and find real joy But it’s not just about the dangers—Clare offers practical hope.

She unpacks the core principles from The Tech Exit, including how any parent (no matter how much screen time they’ve already allowed) can hit reset, detox as a family, and reclaim the home from digital distractions. You’ll hear stories of families who’ve opted out, how to find allies in your community, and why a smartphone-free childhood is possible—and actually a better, easier path than you might think. Whether you’re parenting littles, wrestling with tech and teens, or just trying to find your own healthy balance, this episode is packed with wisdom, encouragement, and practical steps to take today.

  • They Told Us Our Son Would Never Wake Up!
    Jun 16 2025

This episode is full of honest conversations, faith, and hope in the midst of deep loss. Granger welcomes his wife, Amber Smith, for a special and meaningful discussion reflecting on June 5th—a date that marks a significant turning point in their family’s story. Together, they revisit the day at the hospital six years ago, walking through their memories of grief, the decision to pursue organ donation, and how God’s Word and the hope of Christ carried them through those darkest moments. Amber opens up about her upcoming book, what inspired it, and her passion for helping others find comfort after loss. The couple also share a powerful story of a fan from a spiritually dark country who found faith in Jesus through their ministry, showing how God can bring light to the most unexpected places—even across the globe. Plus, Granger and Amber answer listener emails about forgiveness, rebuilding trust after trauma, the challenge of supporting loved ones through addiction, and how to handle relationships and boundaries as a young Christian. Throughout the episode, they dig into the difference between forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration—emphasizing the power of God’s grace and what true forgiveness means for believers. Don’t miss this heartfelt episode filled with transparency, encouragement, and reminders that even in our hardest days, “This is the day that the Lord has made—let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

I liked that his platform is like having a conversation with the man he is thought provoking and the feeling that I get from him is he genuinely cares.

I started listening to Granger when I was introduced to his music and story via Arms Family Homestead. DJ and Daniel spoke highly of him and his family on their Youtube channels. I immediately loved his music, his very real personality and sweet family. I decided I was going to go back to Podcast 1 and listen to them all until I was caught up and listening real-time. I am on Episode 70 and counting. Learning about his story, to how he now answers questions/gives advice, has been enlightening and to be truly honest, brought me back to God. Granger's sermons & Arise with Amber Emily Smith and their words are truly inspiring, sometimes raw, sometimes insightful and always delivered with grace. I am a firm believer in "not my will but His will be done" and I believe He put all things Smith in my life to get me back on my journey with Him. I am grateful for being introduced to Granger, Amber and the YeeYee Nation.
