  • Evolving as women and mothers: A conversation with Alexis Joseph about food, cooking for kids, and beyond!
    May 30 2025

I had the pleasure of chatting with Alexis Jospeh, the recipe creator, former restauranteur, and registered dietitian behind Hummusapien. We spoke about birth, grief, balancing and prioritizing your needs, and how her relationship with food and cooking evolved in motherhood.

I loved this conversation, and I felt validated to hear that I was not alone in feeding picky kids!

  • Is there a right time for a family? A conversation about timing, work-life balance, and navigating relationships in the workplace
    May 29 2025

I had a deep, honest conversation with Larissa Spearnak about work, starting a family, and how she has planned her journey to motherhood.

Larissa is a lover of all things, outdoors, health and wellness and tech startups. She started her career in functional medicine at a small lab company which took her to helping create & build Rupa Health, A tech start up that sold in November 2024 to a much larger corporate company, Fullscript. She was eight months pregnant when we recorded and is embarking on the journey of motherhood while balancing a career in high growth tech.
