We drove from Louisiana to see the Ax Murder House. We made it late in the afternoon and the house was closed, but we were still offered a tour. I declined. When we pulled up to the house...I just got an uneasy feeling from the house. So back to Louisiana for us without going into a house we drove hours to see.

history, haunted especially, told by Amy Bruni, is a fluid word picture. In her interview with Johnny Howzer i easily visualized the telling of the story of both murdered family and the unfortunate lone investigator. A movie in my head, that played for my closed eyes.

I started by listening to Amy's book and got into her podcast. Every episode is informational and entertaining. I enjoy her guests and all the history in each episode its what keeps me coming back for more!!

Amy does such a great job detailing history, the possible origins and of course she enjoys her interviews, which allows us to enjoy them as well. I especially enjoy when the BFF joins in. Their chemistry is awesome! What I have enjoyed so much from Kindred Spirits translates to this Pod Cast. Amy educates us on the humanity behind the Spirits that haunt. How treating them like living people can make the energy in the haunt change. She explores different types of haunts that include negative energy crawlers. She also tells some really creepy stories. She does share things that have creeped her out enough to make her heart race and almost cave into the instinct to flee. I have started with season 5 working my way down to season 1. Along the way there are tie-ins to several of the episodes from Kindred Spirits, which for me is exciting. Haunted Road is a fabulous Pod Cast, for those who enjoy good stories, the haunting are just a bonus!
