Back in the 1800's, the United States saw an uptick of its population moving from the east coast to the west coast during the gold rush days. With the expansion of the west, came with it the outlaws. The law was spread thin and the lawless was forever growing far and wide. Many of the jails and prison systems were very rudimentary, but very harsh treatment to those imprisoned within the wall. Those who were tasked with being a prison guard at one of these prisons did so with little pay and little to no training. During this episode we will be exploring with our very own Renee Slider discussing her own haunting experiences during her time as a staff member and tour guide at the Wyoming Territorial State Prison in Laramie Wyoming. We hope you enjoy listening to these next two episodes as much as we liked to talk about them. Wait no further, it's time to listen along with Wicked Darkness with S.E.W.P.I.T.
