External hemorrhoids
- Itching or irritation in your anal region.
- Pain or discomfort.
- Swelling around your anus.
- Bleeding.
Internal hemorrhoids can cause:
- blood on the tissue after having a bowel movement
- skin that sticks out of the anus during bowel movements
