  • Nonna Felicia
    Jun 21 2025

Let's start the week with a moment to honor Karen Read. Felicia recaps her week with friends in town, while Marni shares her celeb spottings—from Jesse Solomon to her experience at Watch What Happens Live. Thanks to the rainy weather, Felicia enjoyed some girl time watching lighthearted movies like Nonna and Like Father. Marni’s recommendation of the week is Prime Video’s The Better Sister, and the movie of the week is Materialists, starring Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans, and Dakota Johnson. Felicia also managed to fit in some Korean dramas, and there’s a big week ahead with Squid Game and The Bear.

  • Titanic & The Cathouse
    Jun 15 2025

Felicia is busy in Plainview for game day, so Marni is joined by her husband, KC, to catch up on all the shows she watched this week. After a concert update from Marni, they're joined by a 9-year-old Titanic expert who has not only read the books and seen the movie, but also has thoughts on the new OceanGate documentary on Max.

Once he’s dismissed, Marni dives into some X-rated reflections on her time producing HBO’s Cathouse, now the focus of a new six-part documentary on A&E. Other shows on her list include Mountainhead, Stick, Untold: Brett Favre, and Call Me Alex. She’s not a fan of Bravo's Next Gen, but admits she’ll probably keep it on in the background.

Thanks for listening—and don’t forget to rate, review, and tell your Titanic-obsessed child.

  • Finale Week
    Jun 1 2025

Marni has a message for Jax Taylor before diving into all the week’s programming. It’s finale season with The Handmaid’s Tale, The Last of Us, and The Rehearsal and the reviews (and disagreements) are flying.

Marni and KC loved the two-part Pee Wee Herman documentary, and KC also recommends Friendship, starring Paul Rudd. There’s debate over Sirens. Could Nicole Kidman have played Julianne Moore’s role? and Adults on Hulu gets a thumbs up as a fun new comedy.

Felicia is NOT happy with And Just Like That on HBO Max and surprises Marni with her takes on Fountain of Youth and Murderbot, both on Apple TV.

Plenty of giggles, strong opinions, and standout moments on this week’s episode. Tune in!

  • Spoilers Ahead
    May 24 2025

Felicia, struggling to hear, throws on headphones and is now loud and clear. Marni drops Hollywood updates, including Sterling K. Brown’s new Hulu drama Washington Black (premiering in July), Kaia Gerber stepping into Bret Easton Ellis territory with The Shards, and Conan O’Brien joining the Toy Story 5 crew.

In the spoiler zone: The Last of Us flashback arc, American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden blows Marni away, and The Handmaid’s Tale gets a Moss-directed visual punch.

Overcompensating on Prime is Marni’s show of the week. Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 just dropped on Hulu with two episodes, and Felicia really enjoyed it. Marni’s son is loving HBO Max’s Castle Impossible, a reno show that’s great for the whole family.

Tonight, they’re off to see Hugh Jackman live at Radio City Music Hall—report to come.

  • English Dubbing, Walton Goggins & Spike Lee Tea
    May 17 2025

Marni wasn’t planning to record this week, but she had a lot to share—so she’s joined by comedian, actor, and friend Justin Taub. Justin is hosting a new podcast called Define Insanity and is a working actor with great behind-the-scenes stories from his time as a background performer. Despite signing NDAs, he still manages to spill a little tea.

Marni shares updates on this week’s true crime stories, from the Menendez brothers to Karen Read. Felicia joins her in a pre-recorded segment to discuss the new French dramedy Reformed on HBO Max (goodbye, MAX). The debate over watching foreign shows dubbed in English or in their original language continues—with Felicia firmly on one side, and Justin, a big fan of international films, weighing in as well.

Justin shares that his favorite show of all time is Dark, the German thriller on Netflix, and Walton Goggins’ big Hollywood moment makes a lasting impression. Marni wasn’t as into The Four Seasons film as she was the show, but she’s excited about the Season 2 news—and is thoroughly enjoying Overcompensating, the new comedy on Prime Video.

Justin wraps up the episode with an unforgettable Spike Lee bathroom run-in.

  • We're Having a Day
    May 10 2025

Lots of news this week with Bravo's big announcements and The Studio officially greenlit for Season 2. Felicia couldn’t care less about the Real Housewives of Rhode Island, but she did manage to watch both The Last of Us and The Handmaid’s Tale this week—along with KC and Marni. While both shows are starting to feel repetitive, Jeffrey Wright’s appearance on The Last of Us was a pleasant surprise (though Pedro is definitely missed).

Marni’s favorite episode of The Studio aired this week, featuring a hilarious spoof of the Golden Globe Awards—highly recommended. Another Simple Favor is campy but fun. And Out of My Mind on Disney+ is a fantastic film for mature kids, with a strong life lesson at its core.

Felicia delivers her Korean Minute, and KC chimes in frequently throughout the episode.

  • Four Seasons Binge + More
    May 3 2025

Felicia has quite the busy schedule, but she still managed to catch the best show of the week. Getting right to the point—both Marni and Felicia loved the new Netflix comedy The Four Seasons, starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell. With eight thirty-minute episodes, it was the perfect length and delivered plenty of laughs. Great storylines and a cameo from the man himself, Alan Alda, sealed the deal.

Felicia didn’t quite agree with Marni on Prime’s Étoile, and this week’s episode of The Last of Us felt more like housekeeping. KC, meanwhile, is stuck watching The Valley, but his love for Nathan Fielder’s update on Paramount+ leads the way for him.

A Simple Favor is on deck for weekend viewing—but honestly, everyone should stop what they’re doing and tune in to Marni’s favorite: The Four Seasons.
