• Felicia's Intervention
    Nov 17 2024

Marni recaps Felicia's health scare of the week and intervenes with a harsh tone. She may live alone, but she is not alone! Felicia needs to lean on others and reach out to her friends. The ladies dish about Noah Wyle's new series The Pitt, coming to Max in 2025, while also discussing who's hosting the Oscars and the big guest cameo on Netflix's Wednesday.

Marni stresses Felicia out upon learning that she didn’t fully watch the new Bridget Jones trailer and tried to start Season 2 of Apple TV's Bad Sisters without watching Season 1. How could she? Unacceptable.

This week also featured many finales, including The Penguin, Aaron Hernandez, and The Diplomat. Marni dives into a "Bravo Minute," and the ladies review upcoming shows to watch.

It's post-election time, and the ladies have no interest in discussing politics, so let's get down to what really matters—movies and television. Marni updates her mom on Hollywood news, from the high ratings of High Potential to Stranger Things approaching its final season. Both ladies watched Prime's My Old Ass, starring Maisey Stella and Aubrey Plaza. It was enjoyable—not amazing, but definitely a fun plot line. Marni's feature film of the week, which she predicts will be an Oscar contender, is Anora, a movie about a Brooklyn stripper who winds up in a chaotic mess. The script is perfect, and she highly recommends it. Marni also caught up on The Diplomat and understands why Felicia loves it. It may have been a slow week for new content, but these two still have plenty to chat about.

Felicia and Marni recap Halloween and her family’s impressive Deadpool costumes. After catching up on Hollywood news, Marni and her mom can agree on one thing this week: Billy Crystal’s new Apple TV show, Before, was “AWFUL.” Felicia thought the Netflix documentary Martha was too similar to the MAX version, while Marni disagreed. Hearing Martha’s direct insights on her prison journal entries and thoughts on men made this one a winner for her.

Marni and KC chat about MAX’s new show, It’s Florida Man, recommended only for a certain type of viewer—not Felicia. Marni also recaps the Love is Blind reunion, along with her true crime picks of the week: Man of the Hour and This is the Zodiac Speaking, both on Netflix.

With the election around the corner, there’s not much new coming up, so Marni is ready to binge The Diplomat after Felicia’s glowing review of Season 2.

  • Disclaimer: Felicia Hates Halloween
    Oct 26 2024

Marni and Felicia catch up on all things Plainview and Halloween happenings before diving into the news of the week, including the Menendez Brothers' resentencing and new shows in development, like a documentary about Jerry Springer. Marni is thrilled to learn that Felicia watched Netflix’s Woman of the Hour without even being prompted.

Disclaimer on Apple TV has them singing praises for Sacha Baron Cohen, and new documentaries Sweet Bobby and Breath of Fire are on their watchlist. Marni spills the tea in her Bravo Minute, while the Love is Blind reunion can’t come soon enough. Felicia goes unfiltered when a listener shares her breakup story.

    Tune in and share!

  • All About the Lies
    Oct 20 2024

Marni and Felicia have a lot to cover—from the Menendez update to Dirty Dancing hitting Broadway. This week, ratings for Doctor Odyssey have dropped, but are rising for ABC/Hulu’s new show High Potential starring Kaitlin Olson. Finally, a network show that both Marni and Felicia agree is a hit!

On Netflix, Lonely Planet was a disappointment, so don’t bother watching, while the film Saturday Night is great entertainment for all SNL fans. Anatomy of Lies is a wild ride for all Grey’s Anatomy fans, but the show of the week has to be the Tell Me Lies finale. Internet advice columnist Alex Hayes joins the ladies to discuss the toxicity of the characters—warning, there are spoilers!

It’s a very informative week, and Marni and Felicia are here to tell the truth—no lies!

    Oct 13 2024

Marni and Felicia had quite the night this week at the Justin Timberlake concert—close seats, lots of dancing, and new friends. Felicia is giving up on Doctor Odyssey as the absurdity has gone too far for her, while Marni has embraced the chaos. One of Marni's all-time favorites, Love is Blind, is back on top of her list, especially with the emotional “meeting the parents” episode.

The documentary of the week is The Menendez Brothers on Netflix, with fascinating new details that have given Marni a fresh perspective on the case. Apple’s Bad Monkey has a lit soundtrack, and the new documentary Slice of Life, premiering at SXSW, offers a unique slice of American life through the lens of old Pizza Huts.

A new segment, Felicia Unfiltered, drops this week where Marni asks Felicia hard-hitting questions from listeners who are seeking the brutal truth.

  • The Diddler
    Oct 5 2024

This week, Marni reveals that her mom’s CBD gummies, Vena, are actually from Real Housewife of Orange County star Tamra Judge, thanks to a suggestion from Jeff Lewis. There’s plenty of news on Korean content, and Ryan Murphy has yet another show for FX, this time starring Ashton Kutcher — which raises concerns due to his ties to Diddy, the "Diddler."

Felicia is over the Babygirl trailer storyline, while Marni is all for it. In a surprising turn, Felicia finished the Apple TV movie Wolfs, while Marni couldn't get through it. However, Felicia failed her one homework assignment of the week: watching the new season of RHONY.

Marni’s show of the week was Mr. McMahon on Netflix, but Felicia didn’t even attempt it. Both Marni and Felicia are disappointed with the new network hits Brilliant Minds and Doctor Odyssey. Will the high ratings continue, or will the women's predictions prove true?

  • Birthday Queens
    Sep 29 2024

It's a weekend of celebrations with the ladies' birthdays back-to-back. Marni kicks things off with updates on Hoda Kotb — did she take a pay cut that led to her leaving the Today show? Plus, 50 Cent's epic documentary on Diddy is coming out soon. Ryan Murphy is everywhere, from The Menendez Brothers to Grotesque and Doctor Odyssey (Josh Jackson is looking hotter than ever). The ladies dish on the show of the week, Netflix's Nobody Wants This, the series every Jewish millennial is watching right now.

Will & Harper is a sweet documentary, while the new network medical dramas, Brilliant Minds and Doctor Odyssey, feel formulaic and might get dropped — though both Marni and Felicia want to give them another week. Marni dives into true crime with Netflix's Love on the Run, alongside her Bravo minute.

Come join the celebration and listen in!
