How To Start A War - WW2 Podcast

By: Michael Trapani
  • Summary

  • The podcast edition of How to Start a War, the audiobook. Unlike any audiobook you’ve ever listened to, Michael Trapani immerses listeners in the dramatic events that led to the crime of the century – World War II and the Holocaust – documenting the actions of the criminals who carried it out. A gripping blend of narrative storytelling and dramatized scenes and characters, How to Start a War feels like a Golden Age radio drama. Far from a dry history lesson, How to Start a War is a resonant and compelling story about what happens when good people do nothing to stop the worst evils while they still can. The complete version of the story is available as an audiobook on Audible, Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, and wherever you get audiobooks. Great Story, Dubious Analysis

I really enjoyed the story and learned some things about the events immediately preceding World War II. The historical analysis left a lot to be desired because of its logical fallacies. For example, comparing the Nazis' 1923 Beer Hall Putsch with the January 6, 2021 incident at the US capitol is a false analogy of such magnitude that it calls into question the credibility of the historian.
