About this listen
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a wake-up call among scientists. Far from being regarded as an accepted authority, global public trust in science has been put to the test. This week, Nick Ishmael-Perkins is joined by Courtney C. Radsch, Ph.D., a published author focused on the nexus of technology, media and rights, and Dr Felix Bast, associate professor based at Central University of Punjab, India, to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on the public’s trust in science, how science can explain competing narratives in this new world and how science can rebuild trust in the sector given its changing nature.
Paid and presented by the International Science Council.
