    Dak Prescott is an American football quarterback who plays for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. Prescott played college football at Mississippi State University, where he was instrumental in leading the Bulldogs to some of their most successful seasons in recent history, even reaching the No. 1 spot in the national rankings for the first time in school history. During his college career, he set numerous records for passing yards, touchdowns, and total offensive yards, solidifying his reputation as a dual-threat quarterback. Prescott was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft as the 135th overall pick. Initially expected to serve as a backup to longtime starting quarterback Tony Romo, Prescott was thrust into the starting role when Romo suffered an injury during the preseason. Prescott excelled immediately, leading the Cowboys to a 13-3 record during his rookie season. He threw for 23 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions, demonstrating impressive poise, accuracy, and the ability to extend plays with his legs. His performance earned him the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and he was also selected to the Pro Bowl. Since then, Prescott has been a cornerstone of the Cowboys' offense, known for his leadership, athleticism, and ability to handle high-pressure situations. He has led the team to multiple playoff appearances and has developed a reputation as a skilled passer with a powerful arm and strong decision-making abilities. Off the field, Dak Prescott is recognized for his philanthropic work and commitment to community causes. He established the Faith Fight Finish Foundation, which focuses on empowering individuals through education, mental health awareness, and cancer research. Prescott's advocacy for mental health, inspired by his late mother and brother, has made him a significant voice in raising awareness for this cause. Additionally, Prescott is involved in numerous endorsements, making him one of the highest-profile athletes in the NFL. The men of I am athlete and the women of iamb women have adapted as an every day life to come together and talk about things that sometimes we are afraid to talk about as athletes it’s important for us to be able to read and speak about mental health issues that we’re facing financial issues are facing things that happen when you are your wife wants to leave the league and what happens after that the things that they go through the things that we have family members to go through it’s refreshing to see athletes firsthand talk about the struggles and also the rewards that come with being the only human but also professional athletes and spouses sisters and friends too.
