    We’re back! So let's continue one of the most infamous unsolved cases in American history: the Black Dahlia murder! Join me as we dive deep into the twisted story of Steve Hodel and his investigation into his own father, George Hodel—a man Steve believes was responsible for the brutal slaying of Elizabeth Short, aka the Black Dahlia. This episode explores the chilling clues, dark secrets, and tangled web of crime, conspiracy, and corruption that surrounds this decades-old mystery!

    The poison in this episode is the Black Dahlia.

    If you want to drink with me, you need vodka, Angostura bitters, lime juice, simple syrup, and black currant liquer.

    The recipe for the Black Dahlia is as follows:

    • 2 oz vodka
    • 1 oz black currant liqueur
    • 1 oz simple syrup
    • ½ oz fresh lime juice
    • 1 dash of bitters
    • Garnish with a black cherry

    Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a chilled glass, and enjoy while we dig into the dark corners of Los Angeles’ most notorious cold case.

    Welcome to Season 2, Episode Twenty!

    We made it to the end of another season! Thank you for supporting this podcast and allowing me to share these stories with you all. I'm truly grateful. On today's episode, I'll be talking about Rodney Alcala, the Dating Game Killer!

    The poison in this episode is the Old Cuban.

    If you want to drink with me, you need rum, Angostura bitters, lime juice, simple syrup, mint leaves and champagne.

    The recipe for the Old Cuban is as follows:
    2 ounce of champagne
    1 1/2 ounce of Rum
    1 ounce simple syrup
    3/4 ounce lime juice
    2 dashes of Angostura bitters
    6 mint leaves

    Muddle the mint leaves, simple syrup and lime juice in shaker. Combine rum and bitters with ice. Shake ingredients until chilled and double strain (use two strainers) aka fine strain into a coupe glass. Top with champagne.
