In this episode India and Jayla discuss the Real HBCU Experience that current students, and parents are facing in 2024. There are many components that play a part into having a successful College experience, and the continued discussion about expectations are discussed. Jayla discusses the trials, and tribulations that she experienced within the last semester while attempting to maintain an outstanding GPA. The real question always is what is the difference between HBCU's and PWI's. College isn't for everyone, but it is for someone. Whoever it is, Make the Most of your Experience!!!

As Players and Parents we need to communicate with Coaching Staff to express our overall expectations. The discussion continued with the ongoing issues around attending events, and the recent issues of Fighting among spectators. 

In this episode India and Jayla are discussing the brutal murder of Tyre Nichols by five police officers, and the importance of demanding justice in addition to police reform. Do we know our rights? Should we have those conversations with our children about being pulled over by cops? They are discussing the efforts they have recently taken to add their input into requesting change. They also discuss the different obstacles that many face with demanding Policy Change. Education, Police Reform, Affordable Housing are a couple of issues that are recent topics of conversation that need a hard look at Policy Change. 

India and Jayla are revisiting their recent experience at ONE MusicFest that was held in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2022. As music is one our love languages, we recently took inventory of how much it means to us. In addition to that, they are discussing Celebrities being viewed differently. They are also discussing the do's and don'ts of traveling in a City versus small town.

J and India are discussing the process of attending an HBCU, and how it prepares HBCU students for Life after they graduate. Sometimes moving to a Big City from a Small City can be trivial. In this episode we are also discussing the importance of having African-American Teachers within Classrooms to have someone that the students can relate to. Education has always been an option to target for the younger generation, because it is more easily influenced to control. It was always important for us to have Knowledge, because it is True Power to hold.
