Kevin has been for a colonoscopy this week which he found really stressful as he had to fast for 24 hours beforehand but was starving after the first hour. He also has a confession to make about the Trocaire 24 hour fast. As it's Mother's Day, the theme for the week is unconventional mothers and the lads read submissions shared by listeners of the people in their lives who, while not their biological mothers, have stepped into that nurturing role. They also discuss people in pop culture who are giving mother and sorry to Megan Trainor but you are not giving mother you're giving cousin.

The lads start off by giving a shoutout to all the girlies for International Women’s Day and Kevin shares the details of a bad dream he had in which he was nearly cancelled by a group of women when ordering a coffee.

The theme for the week is memories so of course Kevin has to give a quick rendition of the absolute belter that is Memories from the musical Cats. PJ maintains that himself and Kevin have the same quality of memory recall but the difference is Kevin is more steadfast in his convictions. The boys also talk about their earliest memories and revisit the Mandela effect.

Kevin is fizzing with excitement as the lads are headed to Springfield for the much anticipated Simpsons special episode where the lads talk about their favourite moments from the iconic tv show. Kevin also explains his trauma from competing on Dustin's Daily News when he was nearly beaten by an evil duck in an attempt to win a PSP. In the catchup the lads discuss the fact that every stage school in Ireland did a number in their end of year show to Black and Gold by Sam Sparro the year the Fame remake came out and Kevin also opens up about his fear that his memory is no longer what it used to be. Then, because they had some of the manifesting girlies coming for them recently after they were slating some people for spending too much time doing vision boards and not enough time putting in the work they decide to do a manifestation deep dive. They also read out some manifestation story submissions from listeners and as per usual they are chaotic and do not disappoint.

In the catch-up this week, PJ and Kevin discuss their differing views when it comes to organised fun. PJ is all for it and is wanting to plan a murder mystery night in the south of France and Kevin couldn't think of anything worse. Then, inspired by Charli XCX's song Apple they compare the notion of nature versus nurture and examine just how much we actually inherit from our parents. They also decide that they need to book a holiday asap because they need a bit of excitement in their lives after a very busy January and February.

On this weeks episode the lads discuss the woman who suffered a stroke a woke up with an Italian accent and both say they'd be raging if they woke up from a stroke with a British accent which is completely fair. The theme is love letters and PJ reveals that he was very fond of sending a love letter to girls back in the day in the form of a limerick as it was the only poem structure he had mastered and Kevin reveals how traumatised he was when a girl stared sexting him when he was 16. They then read out some gorge love letters from some of the finest queer literary greats.
