• Interview with Artist Bob White.
    Jul 22 2025

Today I interview the very talented and humble Bob White. Bob has been in the fishing industry for many years and we talk about the changes in both our lives.

Bob was a good friend of John Gierach, the famous fly fishing author, and we talk about his relationship with him among many other things.

Bob was getting ready to head out to an adventure in the Driftless area right after our interview.

I am very proud that Bob used one of my photos for one of his paintings. Thank you Bob!!!

  • A Fishy Dude, Chris Steed
    May 9 2025

Today I have a long awaited interview with my bud Chris Steed. Chris is a terrific angler and it was a pleasure to have him on the podcast. Honestly, this is just a fun listen of two guys talking about fly fishing. Chris fishes all over the northeast and just last year I had the pleasure of fishing with him for a bit in the Adirondack Mountains. He constantly sends me pics of him fishing in his home state of Massachusetts. He also is beginning to venture into New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. I hope you enjoy it.

  • Streamside fly fishing for brook trout with JP. Going North to go back in time.
    May 14 2024

In this episode I record myself on a fishing adventure I did just 2 weeks ago in the beginning of May. Its an awesome experience going from the valley to the mountains in the spring and fall and seeing the difference in where the trees and nature is in time. I try to explain this in this episode and also catch some fish on the way.

  • Fast Rod Talk with The Kimball Brothers, Jeff and Bryan e.54
    Apr 18 2024

Today we talk longer faster rods with two great anglers Jeff Kimball and Bryan Kimball. We already have two rods in our line up called the Coherence and the COHERENCE PLUS. medium fast and fast action. However I have been playing with a new blank called the PARSEC. The reference being to the Millinium Falcon and the Kessel Run it made in less than 12 PARSEC's. Now thats FAST!

The boys start out talking about fishing and fishing flies and techniques and I begin to quiz them on the differences between all the longer faster rods we make. I also ask the question, is medium action rods out of date now? Not Needed? Obsolete? You will be surprised to hear their opinion on the matter.

    Enjoy:
