In the process, the Blackcaps have won their first ever Test series against India in India and have become the first team to win a Test series against India in India since 2012. Tom Latham, Devon Conway, and Rachin Ravindra scored valuable half-centuries but the star of the show was the Man of the Match, Mitchell Santner, who picked up a total of 13 wickets for the match and effected a run-out and also scored valuable runs down the order to help New Zealand to a famous series win.
