We use them to make quick judgments, navigate the world efficiently, and find consistency in uncertainty. But just because an assumption feels familiar doesn’t mean it’s true. In fact, many assumptions are outdated, biased, or incomplete. We cling to them because they provide a sense of control and certainty—but that illusion can cost us growth, relationships, and new insights. When we start identifying these automatic thoughts, we gain the power to rewrite them.2️⃣ The Risk of Staying Comfortable 🛋️Comfort zones aren’t always cozy—they can be cages in disguise. When we stick to what we already know, we avoid discomfort, but we also avoid transformation. Challenging our assumptions often feels uncomfortable because it destabilizes long-held beliefs.
