The Five Nations of the Iroquois were locked in centuries of war, revenge killings, hate and cannibalism. Then a mysterious Huron man appeared on a quest to unite the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga and Seneca peoples together under the Great Law of Peace.  This would become the Iroquois Confederacy.  A Native American government with equal rights and a representative government that left Europeans in bewilderment. These are the histories and legends of the Haudenosaunee.  The People of the Longhouse.

Thank you, Cotter brothers, for all your had work.

So much great information from a perspective not covered in school. Really fills in alot of gaps for those interested in US history. I am a descendant of clan mother Aliquippa. It was fantastic to learn so much about the Iriquois Nation's complex history.

Wonderful podcast about the Haudenosaunee/Iroquois

Caleb and Andrew makes Iroquois history and legends alive, easily accessible, and seeks to balance colonial and native perspectives. I've listened to this every day for weeks, and I am vary grateful that these two gentlemen chose to share their journey into the subject matter. Best podcast source on northeastern native amercian history I have come across. Best wishes from Norway (please adopt me into the Wild Sweet Potato Clan).

Great Untold History Podcast

Since I was a child, I have been fascinated with the culture and peoples that came before the European settlers in our country. Being an avid reader of history and watcher of documentaries of all kinds, it is amazing to me that this history of our country is so untold even in the present day. Stumbling upon this podcast, while looking for books to listen to or read, was a great find. Between the amazing stories, legends, and historical evidence the Cotter brothers have used to put this together I’d like to give them a standing ovation and would recommend this to anyone.

Great information presented by Passionate People

I find it hard to find unbiased and accurate information on Native Culture and history and this podcast is a treasure trove! Caleb and Andrew are dedicated to exploring haudenosaunee culture in a way that is approachable and easy to follow. I enjoyed their commentary fully and I'm impressed by the amount of research that most likely went into this culmination. Have a listen!
