We are BACK after a little hiatus for a brand new episode! A little break was much needed but we really missed recording! Much like many people, I watched the trailer for the new Barbie film set to release in July and became so excited to watch the film. This got me thinking about Barbie as a character, as a person of influence on young girls growing up and how she has shaped how women view themselves and other women. I posed the question; is Barbie a feminist icon? Whilst Hannah and myself have similar opinions on things 99% of the time, it was so interesting to reveal that Barbie was going to be the person to make us disagree! What are your thoughts? Did Barbie, or Ken, or Action-man have a role to play in your life aspirations as a child, or did it not have an impact?
