  • Episode 76: Jasmine Ahnie
    Aug 30 2024
Today we are talking with my good friend Jasmine Ahnie! Jasmine Ahnie is an actor, model and entrepreneur from Brooklyn, NY, currently residing in Atlanta, GA. She is the founder of The Creators’ Brand, where she offers merch and curates events for creative people. From a young age, Jasmine was taught to appreciate the arts, and she particularly showed an interest in acting and dance. She attended a fine arts middle and high school, where she studied theatre and ballet/pointe. It was there that Jasmine’s theatre training was developed. After graduating from college in Atlanta, Jasmine moved to Los Angeles to obtain a Master of Fine Arts in Acting for Film, where she graduated magna cum laude from New York Film Academy LA. Jasmine has appeared in various television shows, movies and stage plays. During her pre-teen years, Jasmine also developed a love for modeling, and began modeling lessons at age 12. Over the years, Jasmine’s passion for modeling grew, and she went on to book various fashion shows and print work in Los Angeles, Canada and Atlanta. She has worked with brands such as Arm & Hammer, Papa Johns, The Harlem Globetrotters, Anne Fontaine, and Ampro Pro Styl, just to name a few. While Jasmine is acting and modeling, she also runs her business, The Creators’ Brand. Jasmine founded TCB in July 2021 with the intention of creating a space for creators of all kinds to be loud and proud of their craft. During her time as a filmmaking professor at the Art Institute of Atlanta, she encountered many students who were paying almost $100,000 for a bachelors degree in the arts, but did not have support at home from their families. It was, in part, for this reason that Jasmine decided to found The Creators’ Brand to provide a community of support, encouragement and celebration for all types of creators, no matter what stage of their career they are in. The Creators’ Brand has been featured on Fox 5 News, Shoutout Atlanta and Shoutout LA. They currently offer merch and events, but will have a lot more in store for creators in the future! You can connect with Jasmine on Instagram @JasmineAhnie, and with The Creators’ Brand on Instagram and TikTok @TheCreatorsBrand. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jejuansmith/support
