    Jun 11 2025

On Sunday, Mike Erre shared some new ways of looking at Jesus' parable of forgiveness. Kevin Dixon, Layla Shahmohammedi and Tim Timmons join Mike to go deeper on the subject: How much of God's forgiveness is personal versus communal? What if we don't feel like we need forgiveness? These plus more questions spurred from listeners.

  • Special Bonus: The Legacy
    May 29 2025

Thirty years ago, William and Ebralie Mwizerwa escaped the Rwanda genocide. After years in refugee camps, William--and eventually the whole family--made it to America as protected refugees.

Today, their Legacy Mission Village faith-based organization helps other refugees and immigrants transition to U.S. life, with tutoring for kids, citizenship and English classes and other vital services.

On this special bonus episode of NOW, William and Ebralie share their story with Suzie Lind and Grant Opperman and describe how the Journey community can volunteer to come alongside this vulnerable group of people.

We're proud to partner with Legacy as our newest Serve partner organization.

  • Lose Your Head
    May 22 2025

We’re at the end of three weeks exploring what Paul does (and doesn’t) say as he describes the Church in Ephesians 5: Submit to one another and upend the Roman household codes. This week, we look at what it means to be the “head” in a relationship. Special guest Layla Shahmohammadi joins Mike Erre, Tim Timmons and Suzie Lind for the conversation.

    May 8 2025

On Sunday, we talked about Jesus' church as a community of mutual submission—and how the original grammar of Ephesians 5 isn't teaching about marriage roles. This week's panel of Kevin Dixon, Tim Timmons, Mike Erre and Suzie Lind respond to listener questions on studying the Bible in translation and living out mutual deference in our family roles.

  • BONUS: Building Our Hospitality
    May 4 2025

Kevin Dixon said it: "Never will I ever. Ever. EVER. start another building project at Journey." So, he's got some splainin' to do with Suzie Lind and Grant Opperman as he shares his new idea for a new youth / multipurpose building, a welcome piazza and additional fund raising for debt reduction.

Crazy smart? Or just crazy? You be the judge.
