Julie is a licensed dyslexia therapist, Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), and special education advocate with over 20 years of experience supporting students with learning differences. She holds an M.Ed. in Policy and Planning from the University of Texas at Austin, where she conducted research on state dyslexia policy and the parent experience with special education. As President of BLEKS Education Technology Solutions, Julie drives innovation in individualized literacy instruction while continuing her work as a practitioner, speaker, and researcher with the Texas Education Leadership Lab.
