About this listen

The goal of JumpingN2Life Podcast is to underscore the importance of recognizing the need to seek mental health counseling early, so that those who are despaired can again jump back into life upon hearing that they do not have to suffer alone or in silence. That journey back to life can and often begins when they first come to love themselves so that they in turn can come to love what others hate in them without cause and often out of envy. Socrates is attributed with writing “the unexamined life is not worth living.” What that means to me is a life not challenged by adversity is a life suffering from malnutrition of the soul. Physical and emotional nourishment comes from growth, which happens in stages. Thus, us living our lives in parts. Understanding that helps us to see beyond the fog of life and into the center of our being where clarity lives. Otherwise, we are doomed to live life in fractured pieces.

  • S1E6 Defining Masculinity In The 21st Century
    May 31 2025

What does love have to do with how men view women in the 21stcentury? Well, it seems to depend on how men and women define masculinity. This episode explores roles that are or were traditionally held by men and whehter they should be occupied by women, even if women are qualified to hold them.

There is a great deal of discussions about the term Toxic Masculinity and whether, as the guest in this episode believes is a term that was made up by women to push back against men who have a traditional view of a woman’s place in relationships.

  • S2E1 - 30 vs 60 Life In Parts
    May 12 2025

Life is NOT like a box of chocolates because chocolates doesn’t get any sweeter with age, as life is supposed to. Fate and experience are often determinative factors to living a sweet life, but both requires the recipient of a sweet life to be a learned individual and not necessarily from books.

Life is truly a stage, but how we live it depends on fate or experience and only those things can help us make better decisions that will hopefully lead us to our destiny as ordered by our maker. Life at 30 is supposed to be clearer at 60, but sometimes clarity is loss by prioritizing the wrong things, which may lead us to places we rather not go.

It takes great courage to share your trials and tribulations to the world, but it also takes a small amount of empathy to want to help others avoid the pitfalls that led to them.

Many thanks to my guest on this episode and to the others who had previously appeared and shared their personal stories or opinions about life.
