No...I don't think we need to eradicate the position of Youth Pastor. What we need to do, is recognize we are at war and our strategy cannot be to abdicate our responsibility to the Youth Pastors of the world. Give it a listen, have a conversation.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't try anyway. Getting out of your comfort zone is important. Pursuing those God given goals will not always look how you wish it to...but the journey will be worth it.

The sad reality is this - MANY people will shy away. MANY turn away from Jesus because they esteem their reputations too highly.

It won't always go your way. They may not want to be your friend anymore. These brutal realities, don't make the objective wrong.
