• Federal Workers Unions SUE the Trump Administration
    Feb 6 2025
The federal lawsuits pushing back against the Trump administration's lawlessness are coming fast and furious. After multiple lawsuits were filed by FBI agents, several government employee unions also filed suit seeking an injunction against Donald Trump's attempt to intimidate federal workers into resigning. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) sent all federal workers a "Fork in the Road" email, giving them just 9 days to decided whether to resign, telling them little about their benefits or consequences of doing so, and intimating that if they DON'T resign, their jobs might not remain for them in the future. Glenn reviews this new legal development. If you're interested in supporting our all-volunteer efforts, you can become a Team Justice patron at: / glennkirschner If you'd like to support us and buy Team Justice and Justice Matters merchandise visit:https://shop.spreadshirt.com/glennkir...Check out Glenn's website at https://glennkirschner.com/Follow Glenn on:Threads: https://www.threads.net/glennkirschner2X aka Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/glennkirschner2Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/glennkirschner2Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/glennkirsch...Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/glennkirschn...TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/glennkirschner2See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

  • FBI Agents File 2 Lawsuits Against Trump's DOJ to Prevent Unlawful Firings of Agents
    Feb 5 2025
In what is perhaps one of the most important developments seeking to resist the lawlessness of the Trump administration, FBI agents have filed two lawsuits against Trump's acting Attorney General and against the Department of Justice. The FBI agents are seeking injunctive relief, asking the court to stop Trump's DOJ officials from wrongfully firing the agents who worked on the January 6 and classified document investigations. This development also may help it make more difficult for Trump and his henchmen to plunge the nation into a constitutional crises.

  • Top NY FBI Official "Digs In" Against Trump Administration's Treatment of FBI Agents
    Feb 4 2025

The Head to the FBI's New York field office is resisting efforts by Trump's Department of Justice officials to set up possible wrongful firings of FBI agents who investigated January 6 cases.

As The New York Times reported, "Top FBI Agent in NY Vows to 'Dig In' After Removals at Agency."

James Dennehy, the top NY FBI official and a former Marine, says they are "in a battle of their own" reminiscent of his days as a Marine when he "dug a small foxhole" and "hunkered down for safety." Denny added, "It sucked, but it worked."

This is another important point of light amidst the Trump-induced darkness.

  • Trump's DOJ Dismisses Documents Case Against Trump's Former Co-Defendants Thereby Protecting Trump!
    Jan 30 2025
In a move that would make the mafia blush, Trump's Department of Justice just filed a motion to dismiss the classified documents case against Donald Trump's former co-defendants Walt Nauta and Carlos DeOliveira, thereby protecting Trump himself. If those cases had gone to trial, the public would have been able to learn about the crimes for which Trump was indicted, including unlawfully retaining classified documents, obstructing justice, and violating our nation's espionage laws.If you're interested in supporting our all-volunteer efforts, you can become a Team Justice patron at: / glennkirschner If you'd like to support us and buy Team Justice and Justice Matters merchandise visit:https://shop.spreadshirt.com/glennkir...Check out Glenn's website at https://glennkirschner.com/Follow Glenn on:Threads: https://www.threads.net/glennkirschner2X aka Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/glennkirschner2Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/glennkirschner2Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/glennkirsch...Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/glennkirschn...TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/glennkirschner2See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

  • Trump Tries to Fire 15 Inspectors General - Who Work to Detect Fraud, Waste, & Abuse in Government
    Jan 28 2025

Inspectors General - or "IGs" as they often are called - work in the public interest to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, waste, and abuse by those in government who would abuse their power, their position, and their office. In a very real sense, IGs are shepherds of good government, honest government, and ethical government.

So, of course, Donald Trump just tried to fire 15 federal inspectors general. And it looks like Trump may have violated the federal law in the way he went about the terminations.

Importantly, it looks like the IGs are not giving in to Trump's lawlessness. As The Washington Post reported, "The chairman of the Council of Inspectors general on Integrity and Efficiecy challenged the White House's action in a letter (to the White House, saying) . . . "I recommend that you reach out to the White House counsel to discuss your intended course of action. At this point, we do not believe the actions taken are legally sufficient to dismiss Presidentially Appointed, Senate Confirmed Inspectors General, . . . "

Push back by the inspectors general is a point of light amidst the current Trump-induced darkness.
