Today, we’re focusing on the essentials of SEO in Kajabi, including how to set up your page titles, descriptions, and headings to help your content perform better in search results and make it easier for your audience to find what they need. Understanding SEO Settings in Kajabi Kajabi makes it simple to control the basic SEO settings for your pages. To access these options, go to your Pages section—either Website Pages or Landing Pages—and click the three dots to find the “Edit Details” area. This section is where you’ll set up the key SEO elements for your page. Page Titles, Descriptions, and Images On a Landing Page, you’ll see a page title at the top, which serves as your internal title. Scroll to the bottom of the “Edit Details” area, and you’ll find another title field, a description box, and an image upload option. The bottom title is your public site title, which appears in search results, social media shares, and browser tabs. It’s important to make this title relevant to your page content, as Google uses it to understand your page. The description box, while not used by Google’s algorithms anymore, can still appear in search results and helps users decide which link to click. Use this space to make your page stand out and clearly explain what visitors can expect. The image you upload here will show up when your page is shared on social media or messaging apps. For Website Pages, there’s only one title field at the top, which serves both internal and public purposes. There isn’t a second title or always an image option, so be sure your main title is clear and descriptive. Using Headings for SEO Headings play a major role in both SEO and readability. The H1 tag (Header 1) should be used only once at the top of your page to clearly state what the page is about. This helps Google understand your content and boosts your chances of ranking for relevant keywords. If you want to adjust font sizes for design purposes, use H2, H3, and other heading tags instead of repeating H1. Set your H2 to match the size of H1 if you prefer a certain look, but reserve H1 for the main headline. This structure not only helps search engines but also makes your content easier for visitors to scan and understand. Content Quality and Organization While technical SEO settings are important, the quality and organization of your content matter most. Google’s goal is to provide the best answers to users’ questions, so focus on creating valuable, well-organized, and easy-to-read content. Use clear headings, readable fonts, and logical sections to guide your audience through your page. Great content that answers specific questions will naturally perform better in search results. Make sure your page titles, headings, and descriptions all work together to support your main topic and provide a great user experience. Conclusion That wraps up our look at SEO basics in Kajabi. By setting up your page titles, descriptions, and headings thoughtfully, and by focusing on high-quality, organized content, you’ll make your site more search-friendly and helpful for your audience. Today, we’re diving into page settings in Kajabi. When editing a website or landing page, you’ll notice a toolbar at the top with “Sections” and “Settings.” This episode focuses on the “Settings” area, where you’ll find options like the style guide, design tools, and custom code. Some features are exclusive to website pages, such as password recovery, which is useful for member-only pages. Last week, I discussed how to make a website page visible only to your members. Those page settings are found here as well. Page Settings Overview Within the settings area, you can specify a favicon for your page. For website pages, this favicon applies to all pages, while for landing pages, it’s unique to each one. This allows you to have a separate favicon for a landing page if desired.Another feature in the website page settings is the option to disable certain system pages. While most system pages can’t be turned off, you can disable the Member Directory and Announcements pages from this area. The most notable sections in settings are the style guide and custom code. The custom code area is perfect for adding unique font settings, additional fonts, custom bullet icons, or adjusting form and header appearances. If you’re interested in learning more about custom code in Kajabi, check out the code course on my website, which includes a free introduction to Kajabi code and customization. Custom Code and Style Guide The style guide is where you control much of your site’s appearance, especially fonts. You can also adjust button settings, such as text color, background, outline, fill style, and size. The primary color for your site, used for hyperlinks and video player bars, is set here as well.Font choices for your page or theme are managed here. You can select body and paragraph fonts, set line height, and choose between bold or normal text. By default, Kajabi headings are always bold, but I recommend changing this to normal for more flexibility. This way, you can bold headings when needed, rather than being forced to use bold all the time. You can also set the sizes for H1 through H6 headings and body text for both desktop and mobile. This is the main place in Kajabi to control font sizes. Font Settings and SEO Tips By default, the H1 heading is the largest, with sizes decreasing down to H6. It’s important to understand how heading tags affect SEO. The H1 tag tells Google what your page is about, so avoid using multiple H1s for different topics on the same page, as this can confuse search engines.Google prefers a clear hierarchy of headings. I recommend making your H1 and H2 the same size visually, so you can use H1 for the main topic at the top of the page—helping Google understand your content—and H2 for other large headings. This approach maintains SEO clarity while giving you design control. If you’re interested in more SEO strategies, I also offer an SEO course on my website. Typically, you’ll set up your fonts and style guide once and rarely need to revisit them. That’s all for today! Tune in next week for more Kajabi tips and insights.

You’ll learn how to choose and customize website themes, the key differences between Website Pages and Landing Pages, and how theme changes affect your entire site. We also cover special features like member-only visibility and how to copy Website Pages to Landing Pages. Whether you’re new to Kajabi or looking to optimize your site, this episode gives you practical tips to make the most of Kajabi’s Website Pages. I’ve got some things that may help you with Kajabi: Kajabi in 5 Minutes YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Kajabiin5Minutes Kajabi 30 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/30days-kajabi Kajabi Blog: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/blog Kajabi Code course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/code Kajabi SEO course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/seo These next promotions are only active for a short time throughout the year 3 Months for $99: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/3months-for-99 60 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/60-day-trial 50% off for 12 Months: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/kajabi-half-price Episode Overview Introduction Hello and welcome to Kajabi in 5 Minutes. Today, I’ll be talking to you about Website Pages in Kajabi—specifically, how to get them, what they are, how they differ from Landing Pages, and some other quirks about them. Getting Started with Kajabi Website Pages Website Pages are a set of pages you get when you select a website theme. If you’re new to Kajabi and haven’t chosen a theme yet, go to the toolbar on the left, click “Website,” then “Design,” and check out the template store. You’ll find a variety of templates to preview and save. You can edit these templates and select one to set as your live template. This makes it easy to prepare a new site design and launch it when you’re ready. My favorite theme is the Streamlined Home theme because it’s simple, easy to customize, and doesn’t include custom code. It’s a great blank template to start from. Other templates are excellent for design inspiration and often include custom code you can reuse. To see what code is included, check the settings and custom code sections. Managing Website Pages Once you pick a theme, Kajabi will populate your Website Pages. In the pages area, you’ll see a list of Website Pages—some are system pages, and some are not. System pages are hard-coded into Kajabi, so you can’t draft, unpublish, or remove them, but you can simply ignore them if you don’t need them. For all other pages, you have full control. What makes Website Pages unique is that they are all linked to your theme. If you make a theme-based change—like updating font settings, primary colors, or adding custom code—those changes will propagate through all your Website Pages. Editing elements like the header, footer, two-step opt-in pop-up, or exit pop-up on any page will update those elements across all Website Pages. This is very convenient, as you don’t have to repeat changes on every page. All Website Pages are grouped together by theme. Landing Pages vs. Website Pages Landing Pages are completely independent from Website Pages. Changes made to a Landing Page do not affect other pages. While the editor for both Website and Landing Pages is the same, sometimes updates roll out to one before the other. Eventually, both types of pages get the same functionality when updates sync. Kajabi Member-Only Pages A unique feature of Website Pages is the ability to make them visible only to members of your site. If someone is logged in, they can see the page; if not, they’ll be prompted to log in. This is a great way to offer extra resources to your members without creating an additional product. To activate Member-Only visibility, go to your pages area, click the three dots next to the page you want to update, select “Edit Details,” and toggle the member-only visibility option. Copying Website Pages to Landing Pages in Kajabi Another useful feature is the option to copy a Website Page into the Landing Pages area. If you want a Website Page to function as a Landing Page, simply use the “Add to Landing Page” button. However, you cannot copy a Landing Page back into the Website Pages area—this process only works one way. Conclusion That’s everything for today’s episode on Website Pages. I hope this helps you better understand how to use them, and be sure to tune in next week for more Kajabi tips and tricks.
