About this listen

Every day, hundreds of people go about their lives with no idea that someone has paid to have them killed. In the depths of the dark net, tech journalist Carl Miller makes a disturbing discovery: a secret “kill list” targeting hundreds of innocent people on a murder-for-hire website. When the police are slow to investigate, Carl is thrown into a race against time to warn those in danger and uncover the truth before it’s too late. From Wondery and Novel comes a shocking true story about obsession, control and the price of life and death.

The Kill List podcast is one of the most riveting and terrifying listens I've come across. The concept is chilling—a dark web list of people marked for death—and the podcasters' mission to expose this list and save these lives is both shocking and commendable. Each episode is packed with intense, edge-of-your-seat content that keeps you wondering what will happen next, and fearing for both the individuals targeted and the courageous hosts themselves.

The research is thorough, and while the topic is unsettling, it’s impossible to turn away. I’m deeply impressed by the lengths these podcasters go to in order to make a difference, risking so much in the process. They’ve taken on an incredibly dark topic and managed to create a powerful, impactful series. Well done to the team behind The Kill List! You’re truly making a difference in ways that few would dare.

Gripping, Disturbing, and Unbelievably Brave!

I was shocked and horrified by what people do to other people. This kind of podcast is what is needed to bring light to this issue. Most people would never have thought that any one would do hire someone to kill someone else.

sad to see this podcast go
