Refreshing

It’s amazing to finally listen to a podcast from people who are professionals in the industry rather than someone just story telling. The insight, back and forth, and overall discussions are second to none and I am glad I stumbled upon this podcast.

Amazing!

I am current a Forensic Psychology major at ASU. I found this podcast before I started school. I love how this podcast gives the listeners some insight to the field and typology and cases. My favorite is when they sprinkle
in old Hollywood cases.

My new favorite podcast!!

I've been listening to the doctors for a few months now, and let me tell you I was instantly in love with them! This is the most interesting and informative true crime podcast I've ever listened to. Other true crime podcasts can start to feel like just listening to a long list of depressing crime cases (I love that too, but need a break sometimes). This podcast can cover some of the same cases I've heard about 10 times already and everytime they will come up with something interesting to say about the case I never thought about. Plus the cinephile angle is a huge bonus, bc I'm one too!! Love it, love them, love this whole concept and everything.

One of my don't-miss weekly podcasts

First off, love the hosts. They are warm, funny, and know their stuff. This podcast does double-duty for me, satisfying the itch for both true crime stories and a psychological understanding of the people who commit them and the repercussions for the people who are victimized. While it is a bit L.A.-centric, that element of it is by no means an emphasis. The hosts try to cover issues that can pop up in the human sphere any time, any place.

L.A. Not So Confidential is a gem in the genre!

LA Not So Confidential is an amazing podcast and not just for true crime aficionados. They look at each event through the lens of an expert practitioner. I love the way they intelligently dissect each crime and explain the laws surrounding the issues. As someone who also supports police departments, I find this show refreshing. A must listen!

Always Fascinating!

Dr. Shiloh and Dr Scott have a great hosting connection. They research the material they present which I appreciate. I find their opinions insightful and fresh, which gives stories you may already be familiar with a new angle. This podcast is a (sometimes creepy and unsettling but always interesting) delight. Thank you for making it.
