It is produced by Eric Cooper (who is also responsible for technical aspects and programming). Actually, we should say folk music, because there's no such thing as Folk (with a capital F)! There's no such thing as "Folk", because there isn't just one "Folk", there are many "Folk". La Croisière Folk prides itself on playing good music. You'll hear folk (Belgian, Trad, French, Québécois, Breton, American, Canadian, Australian, English, Scottish, Welsh...), folk rock, bluegrass, Americana - anything that falls under the broad (and growing) umbrella of "folk music". It's worth noting that unlike other musical styles, folk music is, for the most part, handed down through oral tradition, and so evolves and blends regardless of borders.The show offers sought-after, eclectic, hand-crafted and diverse programming every week, showcasing the latest voices as well as classics from the 60s to today. The show is also a place where the most discerning fans will find what they're looking for, but offers an open musical program to allow those unfamiliar with the genre to discover it. La Croisière Folk focuses on "good music" rather than on specific genres or labels. "1 2 3" features on each program, allowing listeners to discover an album in 3 songs.
