Great story. Awesome reading.

I am not normally a fan of Sci-Fi, but this story was well written and I enjoyed it very much. LeVar Burton did an amazing job reading.

Great story.

Definitely worth to listen to. Hopefully this story will adapt into a new media (animation, TV show, etc) because it's sooo great.

Touching and Fascinating Read

This was a wonderful read of a touching story! Discovered Levar Burton Reads late but the upside is the ability to binge these stories. This one certainly made me go searching for the authors other works the minute the recording was done.

LeVar Burton is a staple of the magic of reading, and this podcast is missed dearly!

I loved LeVar’s voice taking us on wonderful journeys through a wide range of short stories with voices sounds and tempos to match! I specifically loved the sci fi story stories. Listening to the new episodes the morning they were available was a part of my routine and is missed tremendously!

ABSOLUTE FAVE!

I adore this podcast so much. i pray that Levar Burton picks it back up once he is done with his Auto biography. I have been following Levar Burton and this podcast for YEARS. it has gotten me through long car drives, overnight work shifts, international flights, waiting rooms and more. i shared so many experiences with the stories in these books. im thankful for levar Burton bringing these pieces of work to life is this podcast 🙌🏿

Just 4 episodes in and I am hooked. I like that the stories are all so different, but the best part is that they are very well interpreted. Well selected and performed by Mr. Burton.

Very thought provoking! Words We Say Instead was a terrific place to start listening to Burton’s podcast. Definitely, going to catch up on all the shorts he recommends and reads.

Excellent story, I was on the edge of my seat!

Loved the story, great narration and I had chills down my spine throughout the telling. LeVar Burton did an amazing job with his narration and this amazing story kept me on the edge of my seat.
